Helena, you do comment on the key conventions in some detail and you use examples to support some of your ideas. Be more specific about which features create which effects - consider why these conventions are used - what effects do they achieve? Why are isolated settings used? With reference to the editing techniques - consider specific effects achieved - why is the match cut effective in the Psycho scene? Consider different types of sound other than diegetic/non-diegetic. The camera angles are successfully identified but again they need explaining - why might the close up be such a useful shot in horror films generally? Add the work we did last Monday. Proof read!
